Northampton House asked me to tell you about my wedding day and list all the vendors who made it perfect for me. The engagement ring was purchased at Sierra West Jewelers in Orem. Wow! It is so spectacular! Here is a photo of our rings in my bouquet.
My wedding day was perfect! From the temple ceremony to our reception dinner at Northampton House, every detail was in order. My day started with a visit to Jenner, my stylist at Lunatic Fringe Salon. She did a soft up-do in my hair and then my make-up. I felt so pampered!
After our ceremony in the Salt Lake Temple, we took photos on the grounds. We had a great experience with our photographer Shannon (Images by Shannon) and our videographer Dustin (Motion Media). All of these blog photos were taken by Shannon. Dustin did a superb job with the video! It can be seen under the Tour button on Northampton's website by selecting "video". I really enjoyed strolling the gardens. I also loved my wedding dress-it was everything I had dreamed about. My dress was a simple drop waist style in bridal white. I purchased my dress through Danielle’s Bridal.
I wanted my event theme to be very traditional and have the feel of old world charm. This worked so perfectly in the Tuscan styled room with antiqued walls. Warm colors of bronze and champagne welcomed the guests in the Courtyard room. The centerpieces were on bronze candlesticks overflowing with roses, orchids, lilies, and tulips etc. They were placed on table toppers of a bronze and cream brocade.
Each place setting included the name card, dinner menu, and a favor of handmade chocolates from the Blue Chocolatier.
The three-tiered wedding cake was a gift from Dawna, from Cakes by Dawna. The scrolling on it echoed the pattern on the table linens. She did an extraordinary job; it was very delicious as well as a work of art.
We met with the executive chef, Alysa, to plan our dinner. The food was way beyond my expectations!!! We choose a pear and spinach salad with a choice of chicken marsala or filet mignon. Dessert options were: crème brulee, napoleon, or mango mousse in a chocolate cup.

The desserts tasted even better than they looked! Rachael Chase played the harp throughout the dinner. It made the whole event just heavenly.
It was very special to be surrounded by all of our family and friends and have them join in my joy as we ate our sumptuous meal. It was a perfect end to a perfect day. As we look back on the event, it couldn’t have been any nicer. Every detail was perfect! It was truly my best day! ---Patti.
