They choose to have yellow and green rock candy displayed on a stick, milk duds, apple gummy rings, lemon meringue and green pear salt water taffy, and Swedish fish.
The candy was displayed nicely in varying sizes of apothecary jars and vases.
Because of a fond memory that Missy had of playing with her mothers wedding bouquet growing up, she choose to do her bridal bouquet in silk flowers. It turned out wonderfully! And now she has it to share with her children.
She wanted real flowers for everything else though. Her centerpieces helped to stick with her color scheme. We had a vase full of pears and flowers coming up throughout the pears, white roses, yellow carnations, and red hypericum berries. It added a great dimension to the table.
Missy and Jordan had cute little stations throughout their wedding for all of the children to enjoy. There was an artist who was doing caricature drawings of everyone there! It was a very cute idea.
At another station they had their guests fill out little papers that say "What is love to you?". Then they were displayed above with a clothes pin.
Missy had her mother make her wedding cake and the best part about it was that it was all out of rice crispy treats! It was a hit! They even cut the wedding cake with a black belt taekwondo sword. Overall the night was spectacular! Best wishes Missy and Jordan! |
